On September 15, The Light of Memory - Ruggero Savinio, Tang Yongli, Giuseppe Modica and Zhang Yidan’s exhibition co-sponsored by China National Academy of Painting(CNAP), Art News of China, Art News of China’S Network and the Cultural Office of the Embassy of the Republic of Italy opened at the CNAP Art Museum.
Yang Xiaoyang, president of the CNAP, Xu Li, party secretary of the Chinese Artists Association both deputy chairman and secretary general, Meng Feixuan, Counsellor of the Cultural Office of the Embassy of the Republic of Italy, Zhang Xiaoling, curator of the exhibition and vice-president of the CNAP, and four participating artists delivered speeches successively.
The exhibition was jointly curated by Italian aesthetician and philosopher Giorgio Agamben and Zhang Xiaoling, showing nearly 100 paintings and sculptures by four artists, Ruggero Savinio , Tang Yongli , Giuseppe Modica and Zhang Yidan .
As an important cultural exchange activity between Italy and China, this exhibition has been officially included in the theme activity of the 14th Italian Contemporary Art Day, which is an important part of the 2018 cultural exchange activity of the Cultural Center of the Italian Embassy in Beijing, China.
