王　镛 Wang Yong

王镛，1945年生，北京人。现任中国国家画院美术研究院研究员，中国艺术研究院研究员、博士生导师，中央美术学院博士后合作导师，《中国大百科全书》修订版外国美术分支主编。曾于1981－1983年在中国社会科学院哲学研究所从事哲学研究。

1967年北京大学东语系本科生毕业，1981年北京大学南亚研究所印度艺术专业硕士研究生毕业。著作有《印度美术》、《20世纪印度美术》、《印度美术史话》、《印度揽胜》、《罗丹》、《印度笈多时代的佛像雕刻》、《湿婆诸阳》等。主编兼撰稿有《中国美术交流史》、《艺术博物馆》。译著（合译）有《印度雕刻》、《印度神话》、《印度艺术简史》等。

Wang Yong was born in Beijing in 1945. He is a researcher and doctoral supervisor of Chinese National Academy of Arts, researcher at the Fine Arts Institute of China National Academy of Painting, council member of China Artists Association, member of the Planning Committee of Beijing International Art Biennale, and guest art critic of China Literature and Art Critics Association. He used to be the deputy director of the Institute of Fine Arts. Wang graduated from School of Foreign Languages of Peking University in 1967 with a BA, and an MA of Indian Art, Institute of South Asian Institute of Peking University in 1981. From 1981 to 1983, he engaged in philosophy research in Institute of Philosophy at Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.
