薛永年 Xue Yongnian

薛永年，1941年生，北京人。现任中央美术学院教授、博士生导师，中国国家画院美术研究院副院长，中央文史研究馆馆员，中国美术家协会理事兼理论委员会主任。系国家文物鉴定委员会委员、中国画学会副会长、中国书法家协会会员。曾任中央美术学院美术史系主任、院研究生部主任。

毕业于中央美术学院美术史论系本科及研究班。著有《晋唐宋元卷轴画史》、《书画史论丛稿》、《扬州八怪与扬州商业》、《横看成岭侧成峰》、《江山代有才人出》、《蓦然回首》、《华岩研究》等。主编有《中国美术简史》、《中国绘画的历史与审美鉴赏》等。近年始应邀参加“全国著名作家、诗人、书法家、画家书画展览”、“哈尔滨冰雪节全国著名画家邀请展”、“荣宝斋书画名家邀请展”等，作品曾为部分国内外美术博物馆与私人收藏。

Xue Yongnian was born in Beijing in 1941. Currently, he is a professor of art history and doctoral tutor at Central Academy of Fine Arts, vice dean of the Fine Arts Institute of China National Academy of Painting, researcher of the Central Research Institute of History and Culture, and the vice dean of its Painting and Calligraphy Institute. Xue is also a council member of China Artists Association, and director of its Theoretical Committee.
